Author Visit Presentations
Using her teaching experience, and the books she wrote about her cat, Barb's presentations reinforce reading comprehension, vocabulary enrichment, and engage children with a variety of fun props.
Each presentation has a more specific focus as follows:

Celebrating Seuss (February - March)

Phonics for Wee Kits (3 year old children)

Kindergarten Kit Kats (Pre-K children)

Identifying rhyming words as Dr Seuss books are incorporated


Everybody Loves to Be a Cat and other Critters (3 years old and up)

Dress up as Pete the Cat (with a blue tee shirt and ears)

Dress up as Clifford the Big Red Dog (with a red tee shirt and dog ears)

Pick a partner and wear a pig nose and elephant ears and act out Piggy and Elephant Books
